I'm Dan Teixeira - a Florida-born but very much Brazilian raised artist, and recent graduate from Penn State's B.F.A. Musical Theatre program.

At an early age I started taking theatre classes at the Casa do Teatro Célia Helena in São Paulo and continued to do so at the Miracle Mile Theatre in Miami, FL. During high school I moved across the world to attend the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in the United Kingdom, where I established my foundational training in the arts while studying for my A-Levels in English, Theatre & Chemistry. In 2016, I was named a YoungArts Merit Winner in Theatre prior to completing my studies.

After four years at Tring, I made my way back to the U.S. to become a Nittany Lion at Penn State. There I was involved in eleven main stage productions including American Idiot, Legally Blonde and Kiss of the Spiderwoman. While in school I performed regionally at the New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire, and the Sarasota Opera House in Florida.

As the world regains ground, I will be showcasing in New York City in 2021 and intend to move there soon after!
